The MISSION of the Museum is to honor the men and women who served our State and Country during times of conflict and natural disasters. Our goal is to obtain and preserve artifacts which provide a snapshot of what life was like for these Patriots from Connecticut. Our staff is dedicated to providing education and resources to the  future generations as to how our fighting men and women lived and survived while serving our country. As a non-profit organization, we take pride in the fact that our museum is run by retired Veterans that have served their country proudly and local volunteers. By sharing their unique experiences, Veterans provide our visitors a diverse perspective which can be applicable to current real life situations. Their experiences help young people with confidence building, problem solving, analytical thinking and the development of 21st century skills.
